For almost 25 years, Justin Pollari's disappearance has been dismissed as a runaway. Four months and 60+ witnesses later, the evidence says otherwise — and a formal submission to the OPP is in preparation. But the last stretch of this case can't be worked from southern Ontario. The people who know what happened are on St. Joseph Island. Some of them, for their own reasons, will never sit down with police — but they'll talk, in person, to an investigator they've come to trust. Others are older residents who never see a social media post at all, and can only be reached by knocking on the door.
