SEPHIRA – The Irish Rock Violinists
For over two decades, Irish sisters Ruth & Joyce of Sephira – The Irish Rock Violinists have been creating music that blends powerful violin performances, ethereal vocals and cinematic soundscapes. Their journey has taken them around the world, from Madison Square Garden and royal events to private performances for figures including Prince Albert of Monaco, Muhammad Ali, Larry Hagman and Priscilla Presley. They have appeared across RTÉ, BBC, PBS, Netflix and DAZN, and toured the US and Canada with PBS’s Celtic Thunder as dancing violinists.
Sephira have performed for three-time undisputed world champion boxer Katie Taylor, from her iconic Madison Square Garden weigh-in through to her final Croke Park fight. They have also worked with legendary musicians, including Alto Reed of Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, who declared himself a Sephira fan and requested a collaboration for the NBC Christmas Tree Lighting.
Beyond the stages and spotlight, Sephira’s work has always been about emotion, connection and transformation through music. Their albums include Believe, Starlight and Eternity, with their music exploring spirituality, strength, vulnerability and the human journey.
They are also the founders of Sephira School of Music, where they have developed the Sephira Method of Teaching - using music to build confidence, connection and self-belief.
Their brand-new concept album, Earth Fire Water, is due for release on 28 May 2027, continuing their exploration of the elemental, spiritual and transformative power of music. Physical album pre-orders will be available soon.
