The conversation explores Cross's long involvement with music communities in the United States, Latin America and beyond, including his work through the production company Mochilla. Reflecting on collaboration, documentation and cultural exchange, he shares insights from a career spent working with musicians, artists and communities across a wide range of projects.
Recorded alongside a screening of new and previously unseen film work, this wide-ranging discussion considers the relationships between music, place, storytelling and visual culture.
