Beauties and Rockstars, WHAT AN EPISODE! 🔥
We kicked things off with some Toronto Maple Leafs talk before Deeds joined me to sit down with New York City firefighter John Perretta. Johnny’s the definition of a beauty, living his childhood dream and following in the family footsteps.
Running into burning buildings, using the Jaws of Life at car crashes, responding to overdoses and even rescuing 2 cats from trees so far in his career. From the start of his shift to the finish, Johnny is out there answering the call and helping New Yorkers when they need it most.
But when he’s not fighting fires, he’s bringing that same intensity to the hockey rink! 🏒 Johnny played junior hockey growing up and now suits up for the New York Fire Fighters vs. New York Police charity hockey game.
And Beauties, don’t think this is some friendly skate where everyone takes it easy! These guys train ALL YEAR for this game. Big hits, cheap shots, chirping and fights this is their Stanley Cup, and bragging rights are EVERYTHING!
Johnny broke down what this rivalry means, told us about one of his fights that Deeds actually did a play-by-play on, and gave us a behind the scenes look at just how serious these guys take it.
The best part? They’re raising money for a great cause while putting on a show so entertaining they’re selling out NHL arenas!
Huge respect to Johnny and all the firefighters and police officers who put their lives on the line every day and still find time to give back to their communities.
This one’s got hockey, firefighting stories, rivalries and some absolute GOLD. You don’t want to miss it!
