A Pacific Northwest native based in Kirkland, Buffy built her career at the intersection of finance, healthcare, and venture, beginning in banking before moving into early-stage investing and co-founding SteelSky Ventures, the women's health fund that backed companies serving more than 44 million people during her tenure. Her healthcare grounding runs deep, including a graduate degree from Oregon Health and Science University and a former board seat with the Washington State Hospital Association.
