Janette Spiezio is the Owner of Sustainable Haus in Summit, NJ, Founder of the NJ Chapter of Beyond Plastics, and Co-Author of Lead with Empathy with Chris Voss. I was first introduced to Janette & her reputation back in Episode 14 when Kate Assaraf, Founder of Dip, gave a shout out to Janette told me that Janette is who she thinks I should talk to next. It just took almost a year and Janette’s book promotion to get her on, but here she is. If you follow the refill store spin off podcast, Capitalism for Green or really anything within the sustainability & refill store world, you’ve likely heard of her or her refill shop called Sustainable Haus in Summit, NJ. I’m so excited to have her on so we can hear directly from her about her background, motivation, and how she’s been able to funnel so much of her energy into leading us all into a more sustainable future that’s less reliant on plastic waste.
