The suspect, Anthony Nephew, 46, who was the ex-husband of Erin Abramson and the father of Jacob and Oliver, was also found dead from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at the second home. Anthony had a history of mental health issues, and police had been called to his residence multiple times in the past. The motive for the shootings has not yet been confirmed. The Duluth Police Department used a drone to enter the second home to discover the additional bodies. The community is grieving, and local schools have provided crisis resources for students.
