The Edinburgh Fringe is not only rain and sun (we have ALL experienced that) but also an adventure from tears to laughter, evoked by other humans' tender creations. I sometimes think that the arts support us in aligning with nature: we are the four seasons in one day. Rain mimicked by tears, big-belly laughter right into the sun, and perhaps fire as passion and air as intellectual stimulus. What do I know? I did experience one performance that evoked the fifth direction: the centre/spirit. It was the kind of show that didn’t just suggest that we are one; it gave you the possibility to actually feel it.

Thanks, playwright, performer, proud father and grandmother Jo Clifford, for taking the time to speak with me during this solar eclipse month. I had the complete privilege of witnessing her play The Gospel According to Jesus Queen of Heaven ten years ago here in the city. I can’t really remember much; comedian and Taskmaster Desiree Burch and I were crying our hearts out, and Jesus, Queen of Heaven, bowed deep inside me. Saying that, I still recall the feeling of oneness, of love. Jo Clifford is travelling to Gothenburg with this incredible performance, where the Swedish Jesus, Queen of Heaven, will touch hearts at Kristallfoajén on the 30th of Aug. I will say it now: experience her—Jesus, Queen of Heaven—who dwells deep inside you, deep inside all of us. Contact us if you have any questions. Love prevails.
