Cheryl Starr, an Anishinaabe Kwe from Sagkeeng First Nation, resides in Winnipeg. She serves as the Cultural Support and Program Coordinator at the Spence Neighbourhood Association, where she draws on her personal experiences and extensive community work to support and uplift the voices of Indigenous peoples in urban settings.
