Stop Treating Prayer Like a Transaction
Prayer isn't about finding the perfect formula to get God to give you what you want.
God isn't a vending machine. He's your Father.
Sometimes you need to come to Him with your requests. Sometimes you need to stand on what He has said. Sometimes you just need to climb onto your Daddy's lap, tell Him how your day went, cry, laugh, thank Him, and simply love on Him.
Make Him the object of your affection—not just the source of your blessing.
If you don't know how to pray, start there. Just talk to your Father.
