Before we discuss her filmography, Ailish gives her thoughts on Project Hail Mary, and the play, Dog Day Afternoon that she saw in NYC. Ailish was finally able to watch Materialists, so we were able to properly discuss the film. Hannah also shared that TMZ unfortunately spoiled the twist in The Drama when the movie wasn’t even set to be widely released for another week.</p><p><br></p><p>Sadly, we lost multiple icons in 2025 and Diane Keaton was one of them. We started this week’s episode by watching Annie Hall which neither of us had seen. This was a cute and funny film overall, but it really is marred by the allegations and controversies surrounding Woody Allen. Since he made himself the main character, it’s really difficult to fully separate him from this classic. Keaton takes a backseat in Father of the Bride, but still shines bright. This is such a cute film and Steve Martin is the classic, stressed dad. The First Wives Club is one of the great films about female friendships. It’s hard to believe these ladies aren’t actual lifetime friends because their chemistry is unbelievable! Lastly, we watched Book Club which is another sweet film that explores female friendships and relationships as we age.
