You don’t have to quit your day job, or have it all figured out, to start building a more creative life.
Justin and I sat down with Devin and Phil of Creatives En Route, the couple we met over coffee in Anchorage, Alaska, while we were there for my TED talk. They kept creative side projects going alongside full-time jobs, saw all 50 states on a real budget, and turned their YouTube channel into a videography business, CER Productions.
We get into:
🌍 Travel that doesn’t require a big budget (including a $400 SUV camper build)
📚 Why telling your story matters, even when you wonder who’s listening
🧡 What it’s like to create with your life partner
🎥 What to know before you start a YouTube channel (hint: don’t wait for the right gear)
If you’re worn down by the day job and craving more creativity, or you’ve been waiting for permission to start the thing you keep dreaming about, this one’s for you.
