David Gauke has served in many positions in frontline politics. This includes advisory roles in The Treasury, Lord Chancellor and secretary of state for justice. He famously led a rebellion of Tory MPs, who later became known as the 'Gaukesquad', against the Brexit deal proposed by Boris Johnson.
