The league campaign gets off to the worst possible start at Home with a defeat to Barnsley. An own goal from Wiredu that even a striker would have been proud off. Two more defensive blunders gave the victory too easily to Barnsley.
There were positives though and you have to just wipe the slate clean. Caleb Watts was put into the Number 9 position ahead Oseni and boy did he take the opportunity with both hands. A MOTM performance and hitting the net twice even if the first was disallowed.
Bradley Ibrahim and Xavier Ameachi also shining int he game. When Argyle turned it on the passages of play were exciting to watch. But clearly there is still 3-4 positions where we need to strengthen. The striker side though wasn't as obvious as an experienced L1 centre back.
