Deuteronomy 31:1–30
Moses, now 120 years old, prepares to hand leadership over to Joshua. He writes the Torah, gives it to the priests, and commands that it be read every seven years at Sukkot. *Vayelech* teaches that leadership is temporary, but God’s Word and presence remain forever.
