Here he comes, here comes Speed Racer, he's a demon on wheels. You might know Speed Racer from it's original animated form a chintzy but charming American translation of the original Japanese anime Mach GoGoGo. Maybe you're most familiar with the incredible, but divisive, Wachowski sisters film from 2008. We were lucky to sit down with friend of the show (and more importantly, author of the comic) David Pepose to discuss his first arc of Speed Racer, what we can expect from the second lap, and how he tackles some of the artistic challenges of creating a book based on such a beloved series.
