Pastor Janet brings a word about, and for, the young adults at BCC Leeds. They are a people the Lord has blessed. Pastor Janet leads us through the blessings of Isaiah 61:1-9. She encourages and challenges the church to see the fulfilment of these blessings are they are passed on from one church generation to another. Sharing her own experiences of being both encouraged and actively discipled, she shows how, in practice, this passing on of blessings can be realised and experienced.
Pastor Janet encourages the wider church to respond positively to our young adults who say “I’ve seen something in you I like - tell me how you do that!” She concludes by encouraging us all in God’s ability to enable blessings to flow to us and through us. “If you give yourself to God, He will resource you for Himself.”
