James is a qualified Boilermaker and Fabricator, who was sick of poor quality 4x4 and Camping gear - so he decided to make his own!


Tony and James talk about James' experience growing up in the outdoors exploring Katherine, NT, his discovery of 4WDs through his mate and his GU Patrol ute, his wide and varied experience working across Australia in trade jobs, and ultimately what led him to founding Pirate Camp Co. 3.5 years ago.


The boys also chat about the challenges of starting a small business and scaling to maintain profitability while balancing the passion that kicked it all off in the first place.
