He worked first as a journalist, and then for almost forty years as an economics professor, teaching in Missouri and three other US states. He emigrated from America in May 2018 to start a new life as a citizen of Ireland, in Wexford. </p><p><br></p><p>Steve is a poet. He has written his whole life, but rarely seeks to be published. He writes his poetry to read and share with friends and live audiences. His poems are a calling in every meaning of that word. They contain thoughts, memories and feelings about both his life and about the condition and evolution of the world. </p><p><br></p><p>Steve regularly participates in spoken word gatherings at Red Books in Wexford.
