Today is Election Day. Control of 35 Senate seats, 36 governorships, and all 435 House seats will be decided in this year’s midterms, in addition to a slew of state ballot initiatives and legislative seats. Republicans currently hold the U.S. House and Senate, but Democrats seek to flip one or both chambers to check President Donald Trump for the final two years of his term.
