This month's episode is a very special one, recorded mostly from our hotel room in Birmingham following an unforgettable night at the 2026 Community Radio Awards, where The Coeliac Shack won the Voices of the Community Award!
We're still buzzing with excitement, and in this episode, Primrose and Terry reflect on an incredible evening, share some of their favourite moments, and play clips from the awards ceremony itself – including the moment we received our award! 🏆💜
It's a wonderful recognition for our little father-and-daughter podcast, which began as a way of sharing Primrose's experiences of growing up with Coeliac Disease.
🎤 What Do Non-Coeliacs Really Know?
While we were in Birmingham, we decided to put some of our friends to the test!
We caught up with Suzy, Dani and Nathan, none of whom have Coeliac Disease, to find out just how much they really know about the condition.
What do they understand about gluten-free living? How much do they know about the challenges coeliacs face? And what might surprise them?
Their answers made for some fascinating (and entertaining!) conversations, reminding us why raising awareness of Coeliac Disease is so important.
🍫 Mummy in the Kitchen!
We recorded this month's Mummy in the Kitchen a few days before heading to Birmingham, and this time Mummy made some delicious Vegan Tahini Brownies!
