We’re finalists in both the Voices of the Community Award and the Specialist Content Show Award, with the awards taking place in Birmingham this October. We’re so proud to be recognised, especially for a father-daughter project about living with Coeliac Disease.

This month, we’re trying Marks & Spencer Made Without Wheat Gluten-Free Vegetable Samosas.

Prim and Terry speak with Darren Campbell, proprietor of The Black Horse in Ireland, near Shefford – a gastropub with an excellent local reputation among coeliacs and the gluten-free community.
Darren talks to us about how The Black Horse became known as a safe and welcoming place for people who need gluten-free food, what they do in the kitchen and restaurant to reduce risk and support coeliac customers, and why getting it right matters so much to them.
It’s a really thoughtful conversation about trust, care, cross-contamination, and what good gluten-free hospitality can look like.

There’s no Mummy in the Kitchen this month, because Mummy is away helping to organise a forest school event. But as always, gluten-free life continues wherever we are!
