Aldis teased stripping Green of the WWE Women’s Title, but Green responded that she hoped Aldis understood what she was going through and declared she would remain champion until someone defeated her for the title. Aldis then gave Green thirty days to get cleared.</p><p>GUNTHER then interrupted to demand an answer as to why he added Kevin Owens to the Four Way; however, Aldis responded by saying GUNTHER was the one added last minute, as Owens had been negotiating with WWE regarding his return for months. GUNTHER &amp; Green threw some barbs at each other before Matt Cardona appeared. Cardona &amp; GUNTHER brawled before an army of referees stopped them.</p><p>GUNTHER def. Matt Cardona (w/ Chelsea Green).</p><p>WWE United States Championship: Baron Corbin (c) def. Carmelo Hayes to retain the title.</p><p>CM Punk &amp; Kevin Owens appeared for a face-to-face. Owens said he never bought Punk’s apologies to everyone because of the way he had treated himself &amp; his friends. Punk acknowledged Owens’ success, but criticized him for never evolving and only seeing a bum. Owens said he waited 20 years to punch Punk in the mouth, and he vowed to do it in seven days and take the belt from Punk. Punk responded by saying he only saw the same greenhorn he met in 2006 and vowed to defeat Owens’ “fat ass” to retain his championship.</p><p>WWE Tag Team Championship Triple Threat: MFTs (Talla Tonga &amp; Tama Tonga) (w/ Haku) def. Wepa Up (R-Truth and Damian Priest) (c) and War Raiders (Erik &amp; Ivar) to win the titles.</p><p>WWE Women’s United States Championship: Jacy Jayne (w/ Fallon Henley &amp; Lainey Reid) def. Tiffany Stratton (c) (w/ Chelsea Green) to win the title.</p><p>Before Sami Zayn vs. Cody Rhodes began, Randy Orton attacked Rhodes. As Zayn was arguing with the referee about the match being cancelled, Rhodes &amp; Orton continued to brawl to end the broadcast.</p><p><br></p><p>review WWE RAW 8/17/26 </p><p><br></p><p>The Usos (Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso &amp; Solo Sikoa) arrived to the building before being confronted by LA Knight.</p><p>Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio &amp; JD McDonagh) appeared for a promo, but they were immediately cut off by Je’Von Evans calling out Big Cass. McDonagh immediately took offense to this, leading to a match.</p><p>Je’Von Evans def. JD McDonagh (w/ Dominik Mysterio).</p><p>World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender Tournament: Rey Fenix def. El Fiscal.</p><p>Stephanie Vaquer was confronted by Becky Lynch for what happened on the opening segment. Vaquer said she did not need Lynch’s help against Roxanne Perez next week.</p><p>Sol Ruca def. Lyra Valkyria.</p><p>Bron Breakker appeared and immediately called out Oba Femi. Instead, Paul Heyman appeared. Breakker then asked Heyman who he thought was the future of the company… and The Ruler entered. Oba Femi responded by saying he was the future of the business. Breakker wanted the match right now; Paul Heyman stopped him and made the announcement Bron Breakker will face Oba Femi on Sunday Night’s Main Event.</p><p>World Heavyweight Championship #1 Contender Tournament: Dragon Lee def. Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr.</p><p>WWE Intercontinental Championship: Chad Gable (c) def. Rey Mysterio to retain the title.</p><p>Solo Sikoa &amp; The Bloodline (Roman Reigns, Jacob Fatu, Jey Uso &amp; Jimmy Uso) appeared for a promo, with Jey Uso “delivering” Solo to Reigns. Reigns berated Sikoa for mistreating The Bloodline all these years before demanding that Fatu to attack Sikoa. Reigns then declared The Usos his captains, stating that anyone who disrespects The Usos is disrespecting him.LA Knight tried to make the save, but Reigns and Fatu laid him out. Reigns pulled Sikoa back up and told him to end Knight once and for all…. Instead, Sikoa hit the Samoan Spike on Reigns. No Warning Shot needed; Sikoa &amp; Knight laid out The Usos as Fatu looked on. Knight then hit the BFT on Reigns</p>","author_name":"Getting Color Studios"}
