GUNTHER kicked off the show, explaining why he attacked Nick Aldis, saying he was frustrated by the way he had been treated by Aldis since joining SmackDown and even called Sami Zayn a bum. Adam Pearce told GUNTHER he would have been fired if it were up to him, but Aldis pushed for the match at Saturday Night’s Main Event to go through. After that, Pearce told GUNTHER that if he & Sami Zayn defeat CM Punk & Cody Rhodes at MSG, they would be added to the WWE Title Match. Cody Rhodes then appeared and attacked GUNTHER before Pearce made the match official between the two for tonight.

WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match Qualifier: Tiffany Stratton def. Jacy Jayne.
Brie Bella & Paige attacked Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid before the match.
Trick Williams was confronted by Carmelo Hayes backstage, with Hayes saying he was still coming for the United States title. Williams said Hayes had not achieved anything in SD, and he should stop getting in grown folk’s business.
WWE Women’s Championship Ladder Match Qualifier: Jade Cargill (w/ Michin & B-Fab) def. Nia Jax (w/ Lash Legend) via DQ.
Charlotte Flair attacked Jade Cargill, causing the match to be thrown out.
War Raiders (Erik & Ivar) def. Fraxiom (Nathan Frazer & Axiom).
CM Punk told Cody Rhodes he could accompany him at ringside for his match against GUNTHER, but Rhodes politely rejected the offer.
Cody Rhodes vs. GUNTHER ended in a No Contest.
CM Punk & Sami Zayn got involved, causing the match to be thrown out. A massive brawl ensued before the end of the broadcast.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships: Fatal Influence (Fallon Henley & Lainey Reid) def. Scream Mode (Paige & Brie Bella) (c) to win the titles.
No DQ: Danhausen (w/ Karl-Anthony Towns & The Minihausens) def. JD McDonagh (w/ Dominik Mysterio & Liv Morgan).
Lyra Valkyria def. Bayley.
Valkyria hit a Nightwing on Bayley onto the stairs after the match.
CM Punk & Cody Rhodes def. GUNTHER & Sami Zayn.
Nick Aldis blasted GUNTHER with the WWE Title.
Roman Reigns & Jalen Brunson appeared for a promo. To celebrate his efforts in the NBA Finals, Reigns gifted Brunson a Knicks-themed version of the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. Seth Rollins’ theme started playing, but it turned out to be Tyrese Halliburton. This was a trap, as Rollins attacked Reigns. Rollins went for a Stomp, but he was blocked by Brunson. Reigns then hit a Spear & a Superman Punch to end the broadcast.
review WWE Monday Night RAW from 7/20/26
The Vision (Bron Breakker & Austin Theory) (w/ Maxxine Dupri & Logan Paul) def. Je’Von Evans & Dragon Lee.
Alpha Academy tried to make the save, but they were laid out by The Vision.
The Judgment Day demanded that Danhausen to give them back the $100k they paid him to curse Oba Femi. Danhausen appeared in the ring and tried to give away money, but he was attacked by Judgment Day. Joe Hendry then made the save.
Backstage, Judgment Day threw money at Danhausen, but it ended up landing on Oba Femi. Adam Pearce then booked Oba Femi vs. JD McDonagh for now.
There was a new vignette for Big Cass.
Oba Femi def. JD McDonagh (w/ Dominik Mysterio).
Solo Sikoa appeared, and he called out Seth Rollins. Sikoa said he wanted to offer his help against The Bloodline, but that led to Jacob Fatu interrupting. Sikoa left, but Fatu was then caught by a thrust kick from Rollins.
Penta & Chad Gable def. Ethan Page & Rusev.
Jacob Fatu confronted Seth Rollins, saying he would beat his ass.
Joe Hendry (w/ Iyo Sky & Danhausen) def. Dominik Mysterio (w/ Liv Morgan).
The Vision were interviewed, with Austin Theory saying “Timon & Pumba (Alpha Academy) were dropped”.
Jacob Fatu (w/ Jimmy Uso & Jey Uso) def. LA Knight (w/ Solo Sikoa & Royce Keys).
The Bloodline laid out Sikoa, Keys & Knight after the match to end the broadcast.
