Swerve Strickland & Will Ospreay had a face-off. Strickland said he had a problem with Ospreay being all buddy-buddy with The Death Riders, but Ospreay questioned why Strickland did not help him on All In Texas. Ospreay told Swerve that this match was bigger than just the Owen Cup, calling it the semifinals of his own World Cup. Ospreay reiterated he would hesitate to end Swerve if he needed to to achieve his dream, but Swerve responded by saying not if he did it first. Regarding Ospreay’s path to Wembley, Swerve said this: “No, FUCK THAT! I’m done stepping aside for opportunities that I deserve”. Strickland then said that this Ospreay was not better than him on his worst day with a fragile neck. Ospreay then shoved Swerve. Swerve then pulled a chain, but the Death Riders entered.
