It makes cancellation sweeps easier and helps avoid paying for services you are not using.</p><p>Amazon Prime Video has the most add-on choice, Apple TV has strong subscription management, YouTube TV works well for live TV plus premium add-ons, Roku is budget-friendly, Sling TV is customizable, and DirecTV Stream is the cable-like sports-heavy option.</p><p>Links: <a href=\"https://www.roku.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Roku</a>, <a href=\"https://www.amazon.com/gp/video/storefront/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Prime Video</a>, <a href=\"https://tv.apple.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Apple TV</a>, <a href=\"https://tv.google/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Google TV</a>, <a href=\"https://www.walmart.com/plus\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Walmart+</a>, <a href=\"https://tv.youtube.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">YouTube TV</a>, <a href=\"https://www.sling.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Sling TV</a>, <a href=\"https://www.directv.com/stream/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">DirecTV Stream</a></p><p><strong>Discovery and Audits</strong></p><p>JustWatch, FreeCast, Plex, Apple TV search, and Roku search can help find where something is streaming. AI finance tools can also help identify forgotten subscriptions.</p><p>Links: <a href=\"https://www.justwatch.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">JustWatch</a>, <a href=\"https://www.freecast.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">FreeCast</a>, <a href=\"https://www.plex.tv/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Plex</a></p><p><strong>Bundles</strong></p><p>Bundles are smaller collections of services, often offered directly or through a phone, internet, or retail membership perk. Disney+, Hulu, and ESPN remain a major bundle. Peacock offers an Apple TV bundle, while T-Mobile, Verizon, Cricket Wireless, Metro by T-Mobile, and Google Fi include streaming perks on some plans.</p><p>Brian gets HBO Max through a legacy AT&amp;T Fiber perk and uses T-Mobile benefits for Netflix and Apple TV+. Amos uses Verizon for the Disney Bundle and Walmart+ for Paramount+ or Peacock.</p><p>The warning: bundles save money, but canceling a phone or internet plan may mean losing perks you rely on.</p><p>Links: <a href=\"https://www.disneyplus.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Disney+</a>, <a href=\"https://www.hulu.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Hulu</a>, <a href=\"https://www.espn.com/espnplus/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">ESPN+</a>, <a href=\"https://www.peacocktv.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Peacock</a>, <a href=\"https://www.t-mobile.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">T-Mobile</a>, <a href=\"https://www.verizon.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Verizon</a>, <a href=\"https://fi.google.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Google Fi</a></p><p><strong>Live TV Replacements</strong></p><p>Internet-based live TV services provide linear channels without traditional cable installation or long contracts. Options include YouTube TV, DirecTV Stream, Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, Philo, Frndly TV, and Sling TV.</p><p>Tom uses DirecTV Stream for sports and specific channels. Brian does not currently rely on a paid live TV replacement. Amos uses an antenna with HDHomeRun and Plex for broadcast TV, which comes up more in the hardware special.</p><p>Links: <a href=\"https://www.hulu.com/live-tv\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Hulu + Live TV</a>, <a href=\"https://www.fubo.tv/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Fubo</a>, <a href=\"https://www.philo.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Philo</a>, <a href=\"https://try.frndlytv.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Frndly TV</a>, <a href=\"https://www.silicondust.com/hdhomerun/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">HDHomeRun</a></p><p><strong>FAST and Library Streaming</strong></p><p>FAST services are free ad-supported streaming TV, often built around always-on channel grids. Pluto TV, Xumo, Tubi, Prime Video Free Streaming, Samsung TV Plus, The Roku Channel, Zeam, Plex, and Sling Freestream are all options.</p><p>Tom and Brian call FAST “waterfall television”: familiar, low-pressure programming you can leave on without thinking too hard. Kanopy and Hoopla are also worth checking through your local library.</p><p>Links: <a href=\"https://pluto.tv/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Pluto TV</a>, <a href=\"https://www.xumo.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Xumo</a>, <a href=\"https://tubitv.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Tubi</a>, <a href=\"https://www.samsungtvplus.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Samsung TV Plus</a>, <a href=\"https://therokuchannel.roku.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Roku Channel</a>, <a href=\"https://zeam.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Zeam</a>, <a href=\"https://www.kanopy.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Kanopy</a>, <a href=\"https://www.hoopladigital.com/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Hoopla</a></p><p>Part two covers streaming hardware.
