That is because both our mind and emotions are connected — and our mind will naturally follow suit once we adjust the emotions.

It is also because our emotions are where we harbor most of the negative feelings and trauma from the past, keeping our mind stuck, that has not yet been resolved — and that we need to slow down a lot in order to better heal and nurture our emotions.

Those are both positive realizations. But even though we are beginning to understand that the emotions are the key to adjusting our mindset, we do not actually want to slow down to adjust our emotions. Instead, we would rather stay busy, disregard our emotions, stay in the head, or logically justify our emotions away.

But doing that only keeps us stuck even more because we are not doing the one thing we really need to be doing — which is honoring, healing, and adjusting our emotions. As a result, we may feel frustrated and upset.

The reason why we do not want to slow down and honor our emotions is for a few reasons. One is because we just feel more comfortable in the mind than in the emotions. Another is that it is more socially acceptable for us to be in the head (because emotions make us weak) and to stay busy (because doing nothing makes us unproductive members of society). And the last, real reason is because the past few years prior to this have been very difficult — cold, dark, and harsh — and that difficult time required us to ignore our emotions, stay busy, and stay in the head as a coping mechanism. It required us to put walls up over our emotions so that we didn't have to feel them during such a hard time and could survive.

Well now, the hard times are over. However, the difficult emotions from those hard times, and the walls preventing us from accessing them, still exist. We need to dismantle the walls preventing us from healing our emotions, and then actually heal those emotions in order for us to ultimately adjust our mindset, get unstuck, and move on.

What we are going to have to do is become more aware of where the walls are up (preventing us from accessing our emotions), take those walls down, and then heal what needs healing.

Contents of this video ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬

0:00 - Introduction

02:20 - General Themes

08:25 - Past Context

15:20 - Specifics

39:05 - Future

41:42 - Advice

43:58 - Summary

Follow me on Instagram:

http://www.instagram.com/ethereal_astrology

Watch me daily on Horoscope.com:

https://www.horoscope.com/us/horoscopes/general/horoscope-overview-daily-today.aspx
","author_name":"Brittany Binowski"}
