“Meet the Union Printers” was a radio series produced by Local 16 of the International Typographical Union, the ITU, when it was on strike against the Chicago newspapers from late 1947 and into 1949. The strike started only a couple of months after the passage of the anti-union Taft-Hartley Act which changed the labor relations rules that had become law during the depression.
