In this episode, host Bridget Anderson is joined by Giulia Bruschi, Iris Goldner Lang and Agata Górny to explore the project's analysis and findings, and how this research has changed their own thinking and approach to migration. Giulia works for the Mixed Migration Centre and explains how this 'knowledge centre' differs from academic producers and what the benefits and challenges of such a collaboration are. We hear from all three about why some migrants move to other countries once they have arrived in Europe and how institutions shape the experiences of people on the move. The episode concludes with each guest suggesting a key policy recommendation that could be shared across countries.</p><p><br></p><p>To learn more about the PRIME Project and read its latest reports visit the project <a href=\"https://migrationpolicycentre.eu/protecting-irregular-migrants/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">website</a>.</p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"https://www.bristol.ac.uk/people/person/Bridget-Anderson-8389513e-c870-4a7f-8dbe-8370d3188c5a/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Bridget Anderson</a> is the co-Principal Investigator on the PRIME project, Professor of Migration, Mobilities and Citizenship at the University of Bristol, and Director of <a href=\"https://migration.bristol.ac.uk/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Migration Mobilities Bristol</a>.</p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"https://www.linkedin.com/in/giulia-bruschi/?originalSubdomain=be\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Giulia Bruschi</a> is a Research and Data Project Manager at the Mixed Migration Centre.</p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"https://www.pravo.unizg.hr/en/iris.goldner_lang\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Iris Goldner Lang</a> is Jean Monnet Professor of EU Law at the University of Zagreb, Faculty of Law, and a PRIME Co-PI.</p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"https://www.migracje.uw.edu.pl/zespol/agata-gorny-2/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Agata Górny</a> is Deputy Director of the Centre of Migration Research at the University of Warsaw and a PRIME Co-PI.</p><p><br></p><p>Produced by <a href=\"https://migration.bristol.ac.uk/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Migration Mobilities Bristol</a></p><p><br></p><p>Edited by Melissa FitzGerald @melissafitz</p>","author_name":"Migration Mobilities Bristol"}
