The Canucks stormed into Carolina to face the Hurricanes, fresh off the bye week and all star break and with a shiny new toy, in Elias Lindholm. The newest member of the Vancouver squad did not disappoint, potting 2 goals and playing a solid all-round game. JT Miller put in the winner, Captain Quinn had another 2 points to extend his lead atop the D scoring race in the NHL and Thatcher Vezina, er I mean Demko, was huge when he needed to be, backstopping the Canucks to a 3-2 win, which ties him with Dan Cloutier for the longest win streak in Canucks history.
