Amanda takes you through all seven stages, from that first awakening call, through the dark night of the soul (where old wounds, fears and everything familiar can start falling apart), into the searching stage, integration and healing, alignment and purpose, oneness, and finally embodiment, where you are no longer seeking spirituality because you simply are it.
She is honest about the harder parts too. The loneliness that can come with a spiritual path, the people who drop away, the feeling of emptiness when life is no longer hitting the mark. But she also explains why what replaces all of that is so worth it, and why we so often have a breakdown right before a breakthrough.
There is a beautiful moment in here where Amanda explains her elephant in the room analogy, her way of describing why every single person experiences this connection differently, whether you call it the Universe, spirit, divine guidance, God or something else entirely.
And importantly, Amanda reminds you that this journey is not linear. Much like the stages of grief, we loop back around, revisit old ground, and move through the same stages again at deeper levels. So wherever you find yourself, you are not behind.
