Halloween was just the normal level of scary for the Canucks, but Manny Malhotra seems awfully nervous about his tenuous goaltending. Matt and Blake talk about the burden of Meriläinen right now and the lack of starts for Lankinen, who has 3.5 years left on his contract. The guys dive into the debut of Jacob Quillan down the middle and take a peek at Boeser's production over the last week. The Canucks, and the rest of the NHL, dropped their Hometown Remix jerseys for the season and the guys give their reviews of the new threads. RinkWide's Jeff Paterson stops by to tell us about the atmosphere vs the Leafs and why there were so many empty seats vs Toronto. They also look at the resurgence of EP40, Boeser and Hronek, plus, JPat talks about the goaltending assignments ahead and the need to find at least one start for Lankinen. Matt and Blake finish up with a full recap of the football story from the BC Lions big payoff win to the upsets on the NFL schedule. They also chronicle the Whitecaps finally winning their first Western conference title and doing so in emphatic fashion. Plus, MLB free agency looms and a Canadian pitcher finds himself available.
