The Canucks' preseason is halfway done, cuts have been made and the vets are on the eve of their return, so Matt and Blake have a lot to break down as the roster starts to come together. The guys look back on the game last night, and the practice today, and begin to debate the readiness and likelihood of Braeden Cootes making the opening night roster. They also look at the battle for spots on defence, and whether Bains can still be an NHLer. Cam Robinson of Elite Prospects drops by to talk about the steps taken by many of the young Canucks.
