Sometimes I read a verse in NLT, NIV, ESV, AMP, and The Message to see it from a few different angles and try to understand what is being communicated.</p><p><br></p><p><a href=\"https://www.blueletterbible.org/\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\">Blue Letter Bible</a>: This website/app is free and full of commentaries, cross references, definitions of root words, and more - it's a great resource for exploring a section of Scripture more in depth.</p><p><br></p><p>My recommendation is to read a passage without resources at first, praying and talking to God about help to understand.
