Kit, Andy, and Steve kick off their Hunger Games coverage with the film that started it all. In a dystopian future where the ruling Capitol forces each of its twelve districts to offer up two young tributes to compete in a televised fight to the death, sixteen year old Katniss Everdeen volunteers to take her younger sister's place and enters an arena that will change everything. The crew dig into the world building, Jennifer Lawrence's career defining performance, and what makes the original Hunger Games such a compelling and enduring piece of dystopian cinema. The coverage runs all the way through to the release of Sunrise on the Reaping! May the odds be ever in your favor, and Subscribe and leave a review wherever you get your podcasts.
