In this episode, she talks about how the experience changed the course of her life, launching a pioneering career in journalism and women’s rights.</p><p><br></p><p>In the 1960s, she worked first as editor-in-chief of the French monthly, <em>Réalités, </em>then as editor-in-chief of the weekly English-language edition of <em>Le Monde. </em>She also served on the executive board of the French feminist organization, <em>Choisir</em>, where she was named delegate to the UN International Women’s Year meeting in Paris.
