He currently works as an editor at <em>Revista Nexos, </em>a monthly magazine of culture and politics published in Mexico City. Before that, he lived in the United States for ten years, where he worked as a financial reporter for Reuters and as a police reporter for BuzzFeed. He holds an MFA in nonfiction writing from the University of Iowa.
