We’re officially ticked off Week 1 of Finals as I hope you came away with the win to progress through to either the Prelim or Semi.
I know for some (including myself) it was a trying week, but hey, at least we dodged any major injuries for the first time in what feels like an eternity.
But it was no trades, no worries for some of my fortunate H2H league finals opponents who had the advantage over me being forced to play a Herbert and Fitzgerald for cover… for scores of 132 and 117.
However, with most of us out of trades, we’re placing a greater emphasis on loopholing and, especially picking the best captains.
But of course, we’ll identify the best standout options across each line for those of you that somehow have a trade or two up their sleeve, and are looking to upgrade or pivot from an underperforming premo to get a leg up in their league finals… I’m looking squarely at you Petracca!
