She was a childhood education teacher. Her sister was a nurse practitioner. Their husbands work in NASCAR at Joe Gibbs Racing. And somehow... they ended up owning one of the most beloved pie shops in the Lake Norman area.
That's the thing about entrepreneurship. It doesn't always look like you planned.
