“We need to continuously remember.. We are at war”
What if the goal isn’t to never have to fight… but to believe you can actually be free and win?
In this week’s episode of STP, we talk about staying on the path when the battle feels longer than you expected. Because the tactics work. The discipline works. And even when change doesn’t happen overnight, that doesn’t mean nothing is happening.
We look at the story of the man in the tombs—isolated, tormented, and cutting himself—until Jesus stepped in. His healing was immediate. The Savior intervened with the power of faith and drove those demons out, giving us a picture of what freedom can look like when Jesus steps into the fight.
But what happens when our own faith feels weak? We lean into the faith around us. We find a local church. We surround ourselves with people who will believe with us, pray with us, and remind us that freedom is still possible.
Because this fight can be hard to talk about. Hair pulling can feel isolating, embarrassing, and incredibly difficult to explain. That’s why this setting exists. You don’t have to hide here. You don’t have to fight alone.
Season 2 continues with a reminder: hold onto hope. Keep using the tactics. Keep showing up. Whether freedom comes immediately or takes time, we can believe that Jesus can set us free from hair pulling—and we’re in this fight together.
