Across four studio albums - plus a collection of covers - <strong>Whitney</strong> have very much been tickling our fancy, so it was a boon to talk to the pair before the release of their new album ‘<strong><em>Small Talk</em></strong>’.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>We caught up with <strong>Max</strong> and <strong>Julien</strong> over <strong>Zoom</strong> in early November 2025, the day before the release of latest album, ‘<strong><em>Small Talk</em></strong>’, with the conversation jumping between weed gummies and hot dogs to a punk band side project and reacting to record reviews.&nbsp;</p><p><br></p><p>With <strong>Max</strong> and <strong>Julien</strong> being in different rooms with different wi-fi connections and microphones, they come in a little hot sometimes (with the occasional car horn in the background appearing for good measure).
