But how much of that was the real Jodie, and how much was a carefully crafted persona?

We begin with her childhood and the severe bullying that shaped her, before tracing her journey through Stringfellows, glamour modelling, Page 3 and reality television. We also revisit Celebrity Big Brother, her long-running feud with Katie Price, and the relentless media attention that followed her throughout her career.

Today, Jodie's life looks very different. We recorded this conversation at her animal sanctuary in Essex, where we talk about her passion for rescuing animals, the challenges she's faced, and plenty of celebrity stories along the way.

A quick note before you listen: you'll occasionally hear the sanctuary's residents in the background, including a particularly vocal cockerel.

It's also worth saying that some of the people discussed in this episode may have very different recollections of the events described. Where appropriate, I challenge claims during the conversation, but as always, it's important to remember these are personal accounts rather than established fact. The same applies to the ongoing legal dispute surrounding the animal sanctuary, which remains before the courts.

Enjoy the episode.
