As a result, many sadly turn to the bottle. It might cost you your sobriety or it might be the trigger that begins an unhealthy relationship with alcohol altogether.</p><p>Here's the news flash though - alcohol will not help 'take the edge off' your grief.</p><p>Grief is too big, too all encompassing for alcohol to 'fix'.</p><p>In fact, it will only lengthen the painful process. Grief must be experienced sober in order to be fully processed.</p><p>We aren't saying it's easy.
