Peacock's significant contributions, including his&nbsp;leadership of P-Force&nbsp;and&nbsp;Operation Character, which involved raising and leading a large indigenous force in Burma against the Japanese, and the&nbsp;challenges&nbsp;he faced in gaining recognition for himself and his men after the war.
