She gained prominence in the 1970s as a bassist, singer, and songwriter, becoming one of the first prominent female musicians in the male-dominated rock genre. Quatro achieved international success with hits like \"Can the Can,\" \"48 Crash,\" and \"Devil Gate Drive,\" which showcased her powerful voice and energetic stage presence. As a bassist, she challenged gender norms and inspired countless women to pursue careers in music. Quatro's impact extends beyond her solo career; she also had a successful acting career, notably portraying Leather Tuscadero on the TV show \"Happy Days.\" </p><p><br></p><p>Suzi has remained active over the years, recently finally gaining a new audience.  \"No Control,\" her critically acclaimed studio album, which showcased her signature blend of rock and pop sensibilities,  written mainly with her former husband Len Tuckey, and \"The Devil in Me\" in 2021, which was produced by her son RIchard Tuckey. In August 2023, Quatro released an album of duets with KT Tunstall entitled Face to Face. </p><p><br></p><p>She's currently gearing up for a new Australian tour, with dates from February 24th for a whole month across Australia.
