Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced. Game Informer reports that Ubisoft’s remake of the popular pirate game releases on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC on July 9th. Besides updated visuals, the game will feature new ship and melee combat mechanics, additional side quests, and some quality of life updates.
Final Fantasy XIV. IGN reports that the MMO is coming to Switch 2 in August, though the Switch 2 version will require a separate subscription. An NSO membership will not be required, and current subscribers will receive a 50% discount for the Switch 2 version subscription.
Game Pass. Game Informer reports that Microsoft has announced a $7/month price cut for Game Pass Ultimate and a $2.50/month price cut for PC Game Pass. However, new Call of Duty titles will no longer join Game Pass at launch, but will be added a year later.
Splatoon Raiders. Game Informer reports that the spinoff title has a new trailer and will launch on July 23rd. The single-player adventure will feature open world exploration, crafting, and treasure hunting, while utilizing the paint-shooter gameplay of the main series.
World of Warcraft. IGN reports that Blizzard has issued a formal apology to its fanbase over the quality of Midnight’s patch 12.0.5, acknowledging that it was not up to their standards.
Windrose. Valheim meets Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag in Kraken Express’s pirate survival game.
