But after a security row erupted last week, causing him to leave Meghan, Archie and Lilibet behind in California, a new furore kicked off at the last minute. A report that Harry had accepted an invite to stay at Buckingham Palace last minute was quickly rebuked by officials, who declared the invite had been rescinded. It is believed that the Duke of Sussex's legal action against the Daily Mail was a major factor in the decision.
