The heart, mind, and soul are often talked about as if they are three different things. Which they are, however, they are three CRITICAL components to every human body. We weren't created to only have a mind, but no heart and no soul and vice versa. So many times, mental health is focused on that only, the mind. What would change in mental health care if these three things were \"treated\" as a package deal? If we could somehow create a holistic approach to mental health while encompassing not just the mind, but also the heart and soul, would we see a change in efficacy?
We know that God renews our mind and our soul [𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 12:2, 𝘗𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘮 23:3].
He gives us peace and strength [𝘑𝘰𝘩𝘯 14:27, 𝘐𝘴𝘢𝘪𝘢𝘩 41:10],
and in Him, we can find rest [𝘔𝘢𝘵𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘸 11:28].
He works all things together for us, and He is near to those who are struggling [𝘙𝘰𝘮𝘢𝘯𝘴 8:28, 𝘗𝘴𝘢𝘭𝘮𝘴 34:18].
