A sequel titled <a href=\"https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Lost_World_(Crichton_novel)\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><em>The Lost World</em></a>, also written by Crichton, was published in 1995. Two years later, both novels were republished as a single book titled <em>Michael Crichton's Jurassic World</em>.
