Badbury Rings is a hillfort dating from the Iron Age, although the area is likely to have been a sacred site for much longer, perhaps for more than 4000 years. Today, the area is also a nature reserve, with an important remnant of chalk grassland that is associated with a rich plant and invertebrate fauna. Some of these species feature on these recordings. </p>","author_name":"Adrian Newton"}
